PSA SECH is the most easily accessible gateway to European markets for incoming goods. Thanks to its strategic location in the North Tyrrhenian Sea, the journey time for containers coming from the Far East is reduced by as much as 4 days, thus avoiding long journeys to Northern European ports.
Located less than an hour from the entrance to the port (time between pilot on board and docking and vice versa: 0.45 hours) and with an evolution basin of 550 metres, the terminal is also effectively connected with the main lines of traffic by land, as it is located a few hundred meters from the motorway exit of Genova Ovest (West Genoa) and the railway station marshalling.
The internal road system of PSA SECH is structured in such a way as to connect directly with the Genova Ovest (West Genoa) motorway exit, excluding the overlap with the city traffic and allowing a fast connection with the motorway network both in the direction of La Spezia (A12), Ventimiglia (A10) and in the direction of Milan (A7/A26).
